Learn How To Use BidPigs Buy it Now Feature

BidPigs.com wants to help all of our users have a safe and fun penny auction experience. The only draw back to penny auction play is that if you place a bid and lose the item, you have lost the bid. Since bids cost money, you can lose money. While it is acceptable to lose one or two bids on an auction, there can be times when you may have placed 20, 30 or even more bids on an auction and it looks like you will lose! This is where the Buy It Now feature comes in.
Buy it Now gives users the ability to cash in bids that have been used towards the purchase of the item at it’s retail value. BidPigs will give users a $0.40 credit per bid placed on an auction towards the retail price! For example, you are bidding on a $25 giftcard and have placed 30 bids. You are running out of bids, or just think that you can’t win. You can click the "Buy it Now" button and you will get a $12 credit towards purchase of that giftcard. It is important to remember that you MUST use the Buy it Now feature before the auction ends.
Also remeber that the Buy it Now option is not available on all products/auctions!
Review the following screen shots for examples and other important information about using the Buy it Now option.
The first step is to select your auction by clicking on the item picture, or link. This will bring you to the main auction page as shown below.
As you continue to scroll down on this main auction page, you will see what the current bid price is and how many bids you have placed on the auction. It is VERY important to refresh your browser to assure proper bid counts in this area.
Notice that this screen also shows the current bid value for your bids placed. In this example the bid value is $1.50.
If you were to use the Buy it Now feature on this auction you could purchase this auction for $23.50 plus shipping/tax.
Using the Buy it Now feature is as simple as clicking the button shown above! Just remember that this option is not available after the auction ends.
