In order to participate at BidPigs.com, the first thing that you must do is register. Registration is free and easy! We will even give you three free bids just for registering! Just click on any of the registration links, or any of the bid buttons, to be directed to the registration page.  **You must be at least 18 and a U.S. resident to register.

Important - Once you register, we will send you a confirmation email to verify your account.  You must confirm your registration by opening that email and clicking the confirmation link inside that email before you can log in!

 If you don't get this email, check in your "spam" or "junk mail" folders. If you still don't get the email, send us a message from your email client to support@bidpigs.com. You should also add support@bidpigs.com to your trusted email to ensure you get future newsletters and won auction information. 

STEP TWO:

Log in! After you confirm your registration, log in with your username and password. You can now use your three free bids to participate in an auction, or you can buy more bids. (See the "Buying Bids" topic in the help section for more details.)

STEP THREE:

Bidding. Just have a look around and find an item that you are interested in. The current going price for the item is displayed in green under the item. If you want to place your "bid" to buy the item at the currently listed price, just click on any of the bid buttons. When you click the bid button you will notice that the price increases $0.01. This is now the price at which you will be able to buy the item, if time runs out, while you are the top bidder. Every time that another person "bids" on the item, the price will increase by another penny. Whoever is the top bidder when the timer runs out gets to buy the item for the final price listed. By bidding on the item, you agree to pay that final price, plus any applicable shipping and/or tax, should you win. (All shipping fees are clearly outlined in the details of each auction.)

Timers. Each auction also displays a timer that is counting down to the earliest point at which the auction could end. These timers will continue to count down, without increases, until they are under two minutes. Once the timer for any auction gets below two minutes, every bid placed will result in 15 seconds being added to the timer to allow others to bid. This addition of time will never result in the timer going back above two minutes.

Note: BidPigs.com does not recommend "last second" bidding. Bids placed with less than 3 seconds are placed at the users risk. They may not process before the auctions end.

STEP FOUR:

WINNING! The best part! After you successfully outbid your competition, we will send you an email to verify that you were the winner. This email contains a link that allows you to accept the price. You can also confirm this under your profile in the "Won Auctions" section. Now all you have to do is pay for the item (plus shipping & tax, if applicable). This is also easy. All transactions on BidPigs.com will be handled through PayPal. Just follow the payment links and your item will be on its way!
